WHAT ACUPUNCTURE DOES
Acupuncture is a part of Traditional Chinese Medicine which involves inserting needles in anatomical points of the body by a variety of techniques. It is based on the theory that there are patterns of energy flow of qi (CHI) through the body and any disruption of the flow is the cause of pain and disease. By inserting and manipulating needles at the acupuncture points will balance and correct the flow. Acupuncture has many benefits.

Does the insertion of acupuncture needles hurt?
Different from the injection needles, a skilled acupuncturist can use hair-thin needles to provide treatment and most clients have little feeling with the insertion of acupuncture needles.
Can I get relieved from my pain with instant results?
It depends on the skills of an individual acupuncturist. For a skillful acupuncturist, it is possible for him or her to provide an acupuncture treatment with instant results.
Do I feel qi flow (or energy flow) while I receive my acupuncture treatment?
Yes, most of our clients can feel energy flow along upper limbs, lower limbs, in the tummy area, and on the forehead while Dennis provides the acupuncture treatments.
Why do you call acupuncture as an "internal massage"?
With Dennis' acupuncture techniques, energy flows along the whole body during the acupuncture treatment. This shows that a client is using his or her own energy (qi) to massage his or her body, including muscles, tendons, ligaments, bones, and internal organs, which is much powerful than a regular massage.
Why do you call acupuncture as a special type of "meditation"?
Meditation is a practice in which an individual uses a technique – such as mindfulness, or focusing the mind on a particular object, thought, or activity – to train attention and awareness, and achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm and stable state. With Dennis' acupuncture techniques, most of his clients can reach a state of calmness and feel energy flow along the whole body during their acupuncture treatment. That is why many clients also call such type of acupuncture treatment as "meditation".
