THAI MASSAGE

The benefit of Traditional Thai massage include those of other types of massages, such as improved circulation, release of muscle tension, mobility and flexibility, as well as stress relief. If you are looking for a more holistic approach to bodywork while being clothed, Traditional Thai massage is a good choice!

DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE

If you are suffering from chronic muscle tension or lingering pain from a previous injury, deep tissue massage may be the answer. Focusing on the connective tissue rather than superficial fascia, deep tissue massage is specifically intended to release muscle tension and alleviate painful knots. Deep tissue massage can be an excellent way to break up scar tissue from previous injuries and help the body release toxins, promoting healthier blood and oxygen circulation.

SWEDISH MASSAGE

Swedish massage is essentially the same as a gentle relaxation massage that uses smooth, gliding strokes. The primary purpose will be to help you relax, and the massage therapist will probably move their hands at a slower pace and use light pressure.

AROMATHERAPY

In aromatherapy massage, essential oils which are concentrated plant extracts, derived from leaves, barks, roots, seeds, and flowers are usually mixed with a massage oil and used by the therapist in a typical Swedish massage, it is not only beneficial from massage, also from the essential oils.

FOOT MASSAGE & REFLEXOLOGY

The underlying theory behind reflexology is that there are “reflex” areas on the feet and hands the correspond to specific organs, glands, and other parts of the body. The reflexologist presses on these points to help stimulate the corresponding organs and help to release energy blockages.

CHINESE TUINA

Similar to acupuncture, Tuina massage uses the same energetic meridians and acupoints to balance the qi and blood in your body, leading to better health. Tuina is relatively new to the West, but its roots in China are ancient. Usage of Tuina has dated back to 2700 BC, making it the forefather of all forms of massage and body works that exist today. Throughout its history, Tuina has been developed, refined and systematized by doctors in the colleges and hospitals of traditional Chinese medicines all over China.

ACUPRESSURE

Acupressure is a traditional Chinese medicine technique similar in principle to Acupuncture. It is based on the concept of life energy which flows through “meridians” in the body. In treatment, physical pressure is applied to acupuncture points with the aim of clearing blockages in these meridians. Pressure may be applied by hand, by elbow, or with various devices. Pressing on the acupuncture points along the meridians stimulate the meridian system, help in managing muscle pain, remove the blockages, enhance the blood circulation, and improve the body immune system.

CUPPING THERAPY

Cupping therapy is the method of using glass or plastic cups to create localized pressure through suction. It is like reverse massage. When you feel pain in the muscle, that means the blood with oxygen and nutrients cannot flow through that area, and toxins have accumulated there. This therapy is used to dispel stagnation of metabolic waste, and increase blood circulation.

GUA SHA THERAPY

Gua Sha is an ancient natural healing technique. In this procedure, a lubricating medium like oil is applied to the skin of the area to be treated. A smooth edged instrument is used to apply short or long strokes on the skin. The stroking motions are typically on the areas of pain or on the back parallel to the spine. Gua Sha technique has the ability to break up the stagnation of the body to promote the smooth flow of blood in the area, and then relieve the pain.

CranioSacral Therapy

Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, hands-on technique that aims to enhance the body's own healing capabilities. It is used by osteopaths, chiropractors, and massage therapists. The therapist palpates the movement of cerebrospinal fluid and helps to release any restrictions in the flow. You remain clothed throughout the treatment.
