# Resolution of Menstrual Delay and Systemic Pain via Acupuncture

**Patient Information**
Female, 26 years old.
**Chief Complaints:**

- Menstruation delayed for 21 days
- Low back pain (7/10)
- Stiffness and pain in the head and neck (7/10 when flexing or extending)
- Discomfort and mild pain in the lower abdomen (worsened after eating)
- Dry, red, and painful eyes (4/10)
- Poor sleep with frequent awakenings at night
- Irritable mood recently

**Diagnosis and Treatment**
On August 8, 2025, at 5:00 PM, acupuncture treatment was performed.
Only acupoints on both hands and feet were used; no needles were inserted at the sites of pain.

**Treatment Outcome**
Immediately after needling, the patient reported complete relief from anxiety, and all pain (back, neck, lower abdomen, and eyes) reduced to 0/10.
That night, she slept soundly through the night without waking.
Menstruation resumed the following day, returning to normal.
