Registered Massage Therapy (RMT)
Registered Massage Therapy uses therapeutic hands-on techniques to address muscle tension, movement restrictions, and physical discomfort. Care is personalized and delivered within a professional, clinical setting.
Treatment is adapted to the individual and may incorporate Swedish massage, deep tissue techniques, manual lymphatic drainage, cupping, prenatal massage, Thai massage, reflexology, or other approaches offered by the selected RMT.
If you require an RMT receipt for possible insurance reimbursement, confirm that you are booking with a Registered Massage Therapist.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture uses fine needles placed at specific points along the body’s meridians and channels to support balance and overall well-being. It is commonly used to help relieve pain, reduce stress, improve sleep, and support a variety of internal and skin-related conditions.
Treatment begins with an assessment of your concerns, health history, and goals. Fine acupuncture needles are then placed at selected points according to the practitioner’s assessment and treatment plan.
Needle-free Hand Patch Therapy is also available for clients looking for an alternative that does not involve acupuncture needles.
Cosmetic Acupuncture
Cosmetic acupuncture is a non-surgical treatment for people who want to address specific facial, body, and skin appearance goals using acupuncture techniques.
Cosmetic Acupuncture takes a more targeted approach and may help support visible changes such as reduced wrinkles and fine lines, improved skin tone, a lifted appearance around the eyes, a reduced appearance of a double chin, and enhanced body contouring, including the waist area.
Traditional Chinese Medicine
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) draws from a longstanding history of herbal medicine, with knowledge passed down and refined across generations. This approach uses carefully selected herbs in accordance with traditional principles to support the body’s natural balance.
A consultation may consider your symptoms, general health, medications, sleep, digestion, energy, and other relevant factors. If herbal medicine is appropriate, the practitioner may recommend an individualized formula based on the TCM assessment.
$30 for Consultation; extra for herbs
Popular Relaxation Massage Options
Traditional Thai Massage
Traditional Thai Massage is a more active style that uses assisted stretching, gentle compression, and guided movement. This approach supports flexibility, mobility, and overall balance, and is usually performed fully clothed.
Traditional Thai Massage commonly combines assisted stretching, compression, and guided movement. Depending on the service booked, it may be provided by an RMT or a non-RMT massage practitioner.
Hot Stone Massage
The warmth from the stones helps relax tight muscles, allowing the therapist to work more effectively without the need for intense pressure. This creates a deeply calming experience while still supporting muscle comfort and release.
Hot Stone Massage is an RMT service and may be covered by your insurance. Many people find the warmth of the hot stones comforting and relaxing.
Hot stone massage is good for people who tend to feel chilly or who have cold feet. It’s also ideal for people with muscle tension who prefer a lighter massage.
Thai Oil Aroma Massage
Thai Oil Massage combines an oil massage with gentle Traditional Thai stretching for a balanced, full-body experience. It helps release tension while promoting relaxation and ease of movement.
Thai Aroma Oil Massage is really good for relaxing while alleviating the strain of daily life.
This service is offered by a Massage Practitioner for deep relaxation and by a Registered Massage Therapist, that incorparates it into an RMT massage.
Thai Foot Massage & Reflexology
Thai Foot Massage involves massage of the feet and lower legs to promote relaxation and comfort. Reflexology focuses on the feet using targeted pressure techniques.
Foot Massage and Reflexology are offered by both an RMT Therapist and a Massage Practitioner.
Needle Free Acupuncture (Hand Patch Therapy)
Hand Patch Therapy is a needle-free approach that works with micro-meridians on the hands, in addition to the body’s main meridians. It uses small patches placed on specific hand points.
Needle Free Acupuncture may suit children, people who are uncomfortable with needles, or clients seeking a non-invasive approach.
Craniosacral Therapy
Craniosacral therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on technique using light touch to assess and support the natural movement of tissues and fluids around the central nervous system. By helping to release areas of tension, CST may promote relaxation, comfort, and a general sense of well-being.
CTS is good for treating headaches and migraines, chronic pain, stress, anxiety, and increasing your energy.
May be covered under your Massage Therapy insurance.
Note: This is not a head massage. Please book a treatment with Scalp Reflexology if you want a head massage.
