How to Choose the Right Practitioner
What should I consider when choosing a practitioner?
Begin with the type of care and appointment you want.
-
Choose a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) if you want care from a regulated massage therapy professional or need an RMT receipt for possible insurance reimbursement.
-
Choose a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac) or Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner (R.TCMP) if you are looking for acupuncture or Traditional Chinese Medicine care.
-
Choose a massage practitioner if you are seeking one of the non-RMT massage services they provide and do not require an RMT receipt.
Then compare each practitioner’s credentials, treatment approach, areas of practice, and areas of focus. If you are uncertain, contact Thai Oasis for help understanding the available options. Clinic staff can explain practitioner services but cannot diagnose a condition or guarantee that a particular treatment will be appropriate or effective.
