Every RMT at Thai Oasis is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO). Many extended health plans cover eligible RMT services. We also offer direct billing to many insurers, but coverage and claim approval depend on your plan.

Initial Assessment and Treatment
Choose this appointment if you are new to massage therapy, have several concerns, or are unsure which treatment to book. Your RMT will review your health history, assess the areas involved, and explain the proposed treatment. Treatment begins only after you understand the plan and give consent.
Good choice for: New clients, complex concerns, or anyone who needs help choosing an approach.

RMT Traditional Thai Massage
Traditional Thai massage combines assisted stretching, compression, guided movement, and pressure-point techniques. It is usually performed over clothing. You may bring loose, comfortable clothes or ask us to provide them.
May help with: Flexibility, mobility, muscle tension, and relaxation.
Appointment lengths: 30, 45, and 60 minutes.
RMT Hot Stone Massage
Hot stone massage adds heated stones to a hands-on RMT treatment. The warmth can help tense muscles relax while your therapist works. Your RMT will check the temperature and make sure the technique is suitable for you.
Hot stones may not be appropriate during pregnancy or for people with certain health conditions or reduced sensation. If you are unsure, contact the clinic before booking and give your RMT a complete health history.

RMT Massage Therapy with Gua Sha
This treatment adds Gua Sha tools to massage therapy when appropriate. Your RMT uses controlled pressure on selected areas and explains the technique, expected skin response, and relevant precautions first.

RMT Aromatherapy Body Massage
Aromatherapy body massage uses aromatic products during an RMT appointment. Before applying a product, your therapist will ask about allergies, skin sensitivities, and scent preferences.

RMT Head Aromatherapy Massage
This type of massage incorporates gentle pressure, kneading, and circular motions on the head, neck, and shoulders, using aromatic products. Pressure and technique are adjusted to your comfort. Tell your RMT about scent sensitivities, allergies, or product preferences before treatment.
May help with: Relaxation and tension in the scalp, neck, and shoulder muscles.

RMT Scalp Reflexology Massage
Scalp reflexology uses focused pressure and massage around the scalp, head, neck, and shoulders. Your RMT adjusts the areas treated and the amount of pressure based on your comfort.

RMT Dry Cupping Massage
Dry cupping places cups on the skin to create controlled suction. Your RMT may use it with massage techniques when it suits the treatment plan and falls within their training. Cupping can leave temporary circular marks or skin discolouration. Your RMT will discuss this before treatment and ask for your consent.

RMT Deep Tissue Massage

RMT Swedish Massage Therapy
Swedish massage uses gliding strokes, kneading, and other soft-tissue techniques. It can be gentle and relaxing or more focused. Your RMT will adjust the pace and pressure to your goals, assessment, and comfort.

RMT Lymphatic Drainage Massage
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) uses light, rhythmic movements. Some Thai Oasis RMTs may also use Gua Sha tools when appropriate. The method used depends on the therapist's training, your health history and the purpose of treatment.
Lymphatic concerns and recent medical procedures can require extra precautions. Tell us about relevant diagnoses, surgery or medical advice before booking. When needed, consult the healthcare professional managing your care.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage — Vodder Technique with Azza
Azza, RMT, has additional training in the Vodder Technique. This method uses gentle, structured movements chosen according to your presentation and treatment goals.
May be considered for: Lymphedema or fluid-management goals, appropriate post-procedure care, and concerns for which a qualified healthcare professional has recommended MLD.
Appointment lengths: 45, 60 and 75 minutes.
Combination options: Lymphatic drainage with cupping, or a longer massage appointment that includes lymphatic drainage.
RMT Acupressure Massage
Acupressure massage applies manual pressure to selected Accupuncture points and nearby tissues without needles. Your therapist may use their hands, fingers, or elbows and will adjust the pressure to your comfort.
May help with: Relaxation, muscle tension, and general physical comfort.

RMT CranioSacral Therapy
Craniosacral therapy (CST) is a gentle, light-touch approach where the therapist palpates the movement of cerebrospinal fluid to release any restrictions in the flow.
At Thai Oasis, it is offered by Nancy, RMT, who has completed additional study in this method. Clients usually remain clothed during the craniosacral part of the appointment.
May help with: Relaxation and a low-pressure treatment experience.
Appointment formats: 60- and 80-minute combination appointments.
Combination options: Massage therapy with craniosacral therapy, or craniosacral therapy with foot reflexology.
RMT Pediatric Massage
Pediatric massage is adapted to the child's age, size, communication needs, and comfort. Before treatment, the RMT discusses the plan and consent with the child and their parent or substitute decision-maker. A shorter appointment may suit a younger child.

RMT Prenatal Massage
Prenatal massage uses positioning, cushions and techniques suited to the physical changes of pregnancy. Treatment may be performed side-lying with pillows and other supports for comfort.
Thai Oasis currently lists this service for clients who are at least 15 weeks pregnant. Contact the clinic before booking if you have complications, medical restrictions, or questions about whether massage is suitable for you.

RMT Postnatal Massage
Postnatal massage is adjusted to your comfort, stage of recovery, and health needs after pregnancy. Tell your RMT about a recent delivery, surgery, complications, or medical advice before treatment.
May help with: Relaxation, muscle tension, and physical comfort during postnatal recovery when massage is appropriate.

Before Your Registered Massage Therapy Appointment
1. Complete your intake forms
We normally send the required forms after you book. Contact Thai Oasis if you do not receive them. Returning clients may be asked to update their health history from time to time.
2. Share relevant health information
Tell your RMT about health conditions, medications, allergies, recent procedures, pregnancy, or anything else that may affect treatment. This helps your therapist choose suitable techniques, positioning, and products.
3. Discuss treatment and consent
Your RMT will explain the proposed treatment and answer your questions. You can ask to change the pressure, position, technique, or area being treated. You may also withdraw consent at any time.
4. Plan to arrive early
New clients should arrive about 10 minutes before their first appointment. Thai Oasis is inside Milton Mall, and appointments are required.
