Relief of Difficulty Breathing and Asthma with Acupuncture

Patient, female, 54 years old. Main complaints: difficulty breathing or shortness of breath for over one and a half year. She had constant cough for five minutes every time and three times every hour. She also had other symptoms, including seasonal allergy, wakeup three times with spitting up phlegm during her sleep, nasal congestion, and headache. She had to use prescription drug erythromycin for allergy and an asthma puffer for her breathing difficulties. The acupuncturist Dennis provided multiple sessions of acupuncture treatment to the patient. With only two sessions of treatment, the patient felt much better and no longer needed to take asthma puffer for her breathing difficulties and no longer took any medication for her allergy. She had cough only a few times a day and it lasted only a few seconds each time. She had a much better sleep with only one-time wakeup during her sleep without any any spitting phlegm and she had little headache. This case shows a skilled acupuncturist is capable of treating a lot of medical conditions, including difficulty breathing and asthma, effectively.
